Tristan, a retired firefighter, runs a cherry orchard in the Yakima Valley of Washington State, teetering on the brink of bankruptcy after a hailstorm. On a rainy night, he reunites with Otis, a wild black bear he once rescued—a soulful creature with a passion for heavy metal rock, who becomes his extraordinary partner.
