At eight, Eleanor barely survived when her mother, Victoria, tried to strangle her with a silk scarf. Rescued by Henry, she disappeared and assumed a new identity as Nora Bennett. Eighteen years later, Nora returns to the Whitmore family as an event-planning consultant—not to reunite with them, but to exact revenge. As she grows closer to her stepfather Charles and stepbrother Adrian, she uncovers the horrifying truth: Victoria murdered her husband, tried to kill her own daughter, and seized control of the family empire through lies and bloodshed. Quietly gathering financial records and evidence of murder, Nora sets an elaborate trap. At a wedding, she finally exposes Victoria's crimes—and the scars her mother thought had been buried forever. But when the truth comes out, will Nora finally find justice, or lose everything all over again?
