On my wedding day, I married my backup
Designer Chloe Bennett, stood up at city hall by her fiancé Jason — who arrives 45 minutes late with his assistant Sierra, her neck covered in hickeys — finally gives up after three years of broken promises. She calls Hudson Vance, a tech mogul and college friend who has secretly loved her for five years, and proposes marriage. What starts as an impulsive healing marriage soon grows into real love. As Jason plots revenge and his scheming ex-wife stirs trouble, the two build trust and fight back together — turning a marriage of convenience into the true love they always wanted.
